We are currently searching for an as assistant teacher to join us. Responsibilities would include:
- Forming respectful and responsive relationships with the children in your care
- Establishing and maintaining consistent caregiving routines
- Observing and documenting children’s interests, capabilities, and temperaments in order to facilitate cognitively stimulating experiences and learning environments
- Playing outside with children in all types of weather
- Working with families to support children at school and at home
- Collaborating with and supporting co-teachers in putting Mountain Village School teaching philosophies into practice
The schedule is either 11:30-5:30 PM or 2:30-5:30 PM Monday through Friday (depending on candidate's preference and availability). Full time position may be available for the right person.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
