Overview

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health/substance use needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client assessments.
- Provide therapy sessions utilizing various modalities.
- Offer case management services to support clients in navigating their treatment and recovery processes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Engage in research activities to stay informed about best practices in mental health therapy.
- Address specific needs related to working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
- Valid licensure as a Mental Health/Substance Use Therapist or equivalent certification.
- Experience in patient care and case management is preferred.
- Familiarity with coding for mental health services is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of gender issues counseling and diagnostic evaluation techniques is desirable.
