What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chef | Kitchen Supervisor - Health Care position at Mountain Vista Senior Living Community?
As a Chef and Kitchen Supervisor at Mountain Vista Senior Living, you'll work on the line alongside our amazing team to provide quality, tasteful meals and services to our valued residents and visitors. You'll also assist with the day-to-day kitchen operations such as placing orders, ingredient sourcing and inventory control, and scheduling, training and management of staff. All of your duties will be completed in collaboration with our Culinary Director, and in accordance with all state, federal, safety, and sanitation regulations. - Pay starts from $23-$27 based on experience
- This is a full-time, day shift position scheduled to work through the weekend with two consecutive and flexible weekdays off.
What you will need:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Professional line cook/chef experience required
- 2 years of kitchen supervisory experience required
- Food Manager Certification/ServSafe required
- Assisted Living/Long Term Care dining experience preferred
