Currently we are looking to fill the vital role of Phlebotomist.
The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing and collecting blood samples from patients, verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis. May conduct interviews, take vital signs, draw and test blood samples to screen donors at blood bank. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Minimum Requirements:
- 18 years of age.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
- Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
Preferred (not required) Qualifications:
- Completion of acceptable phlebotomy training program.
- 6 months experience as a phlebotomist in a hospital setting.
- Ability to learn and utilize various software applications.
