Currently we are looking to fill the vital role of Ultrasound Technologist.
Job Summary:
- Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
- Coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs.
- Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.
Qualifications:
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager.
- Licenses/Certificates: Current Utah Radiologic Technologist License.
- ARDMS Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound required or eligible , BLS Certificate.
- Within one year from date of hire, must obtain ARDMS: RVT (required) and one of the following Abdomen, OB, Breast, MSK
