Nurse Practitioner QMP (part-time)

Position: In-Office QMP Nurse Practitioner (Medical Cannabis)

Location: South Jordan, Utah

Mountain West Medical Clinic is seeking a qualified, experienced Qualified Medical Provider (QMP) Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a QMP, you will play a crucial role in assessing and certifying patients for Utah’s Medical Cannabis Program. We are looking for a compassionate provider who is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a welcoming and professional environment.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Tuesdays and Wednesdays are a must. With the option to select another day or adjust as needed! 10-15 hours per week
• Location: On-site at our South Jordan clinic / Event space in Downtown Salt Lake City Tuesday and Wednesdays
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct medical evaluations and certifications for patients seeking medical cannabis.
• Review patient histories and medical documentation to determine eligibility for the program.
• Provide education on the medical cannabis program, including dosages, potential side effects, and compliance.
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless patient care and follow-up.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Utah.
• QMP certification or willingness to complete QMP training and certification (we can assist with the certification process if needed).
• Experience in medical cannabis or a strong interest in learning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
