SUMMARY
The Cultural Experience Program – Seasonal position gives the opportunity for foreign college and university students to experience the American culture in the workplace, interacting with other team members and patrons, during their official summer school break.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF CEP – SEASONAL POSTIONS:
- Bell Staff - Welcomes all guests to the casino and assists guests with luggage to and from their vehicles as well as to their hotel room.
- Casino Housekeeper - Accountable for ensuring high standards of cleanliness of all Hotel, Lodge, Trackside, Casino, Facilities, Parking lot, Administrative offices, and Atrium.
- Housekeeping Heavy Duty - Detailed mopping and sweeping, waxing, vacuuming, the polishing stripping and refinishing of floors. Operating a floor scrubber and buffer.
- Hotel Room Attendant - Accountable for ensuring high standards of cleanliness of all Hotel & Lodge rooms, hallways, Pool, Spa, stairwells, linen rooms & elevator to prepare for next day guest service.
- House Staff - Supporting the Room Attendant in the cleaning of rooms by stripping beds, stocking carts and linen closets.
- Deli Attendant - Responsible for taking patron’s orders, making sandwiches, side orders and serving beverages in a timely manner.
- Grounds Crew - Upkeep of the property - Raking of straw/manure, power washing, mowing/weeding, picking up trash/debris, and general maintenance activities.

Department Manager then to Department Director
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
- The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
- The ability to work in a fast –paced environment.
- Must be at least 21 years old for the Casino Housekeeper and Grounds Crew positions.

Must be at least 18 years old for the following positions:
- Bell Staff
- Housekeeping Heavy Duty
- Hotel Room Attendant
- House Staff
- Deli Attendant
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Basic level English
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
