What are the responsibilities and job description for the TECHNICIAN - GROUNDS position at Mountaineer Casino Resort?
SUMMARY
Responsible for keeping the property properly maintained in a neat, clean, and safe manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Upkeep of the property - Raking of straw / manure, power washing, mowing / weeding, picking up trash / debris, and general maintenance activities
- Operate company vehicles / equipment including skid steer, trucks, and various maintenance equipment
- General Maintenance knowledge including the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and powered equipment
- Planting & maintaining flowers, plants, and trees
- Snow and ice removal
- Maintain property signs and fences
- Maintain mowing and landscaping vehicles / equipment
- Assist other Team Members with duties.
- All other duties as assigned.
REPORTING LINE
You will report directly to the Facilities Manager then to the Director of Maintenance.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATIONAL AND / OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
REASONING ABILITY
The ability to trouble shoot and resolve issues.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke / secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
