Key Responsibilities for Patient Care Coordinator
- Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones, manage call logs, and respond to inquiries
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Collect and post patient payments and verify insurance benefits
- Communicate with new patients about care plans and benefits
- Manage patient billing and coordinate with billing staff
- Ensure completion of required documentation (e.g., signed plans of care)
- Maintain clean and organized front office and waiting areas
- Prepare weekly reports and assist with data entry tasks
- Support clinic outreach and community events as needed
Qualifications
- Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills
- Strong organization, multitasking, and time management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use
- Experience in a healthcare setting or with medical billing is a plus
- High attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Positive, proactive, and community-minded attitude

Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 42.5 per week
