What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Technician position at Mountainland Supply Company?
The shift starts at 8:00am till 5:00pm. We are looking for someone who would be willing to work with new pump construction, pump repair, electric motor repair, lathe and mill work, warehouse duties.
Qualifications and Physical Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced shop
- Ability to stand, sit, bend and work on and around vehicles
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50lbs) repeatedly
- Ability to safely operate machinery
- Understanding of basic 2 - cycle and 4 - cycle engine operation and repair
- Must have own tools.
- OSHA regulated Steel Toe Shoes: Either an ASTM F243 M/I/50/C/50 or ANSI Z41 PT M/I/50/50. Or an ASTM F2413 F/I/50/C/50 or ANSI Z41 PT F/I/50/C/50
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure a high level of customer service is always provided
- Snow plow installation - comfortable with wiring and hydraulics
- Evaluate finished work to make sure that the services asked for have been completed, to the customers’ expectations
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, and assist with overall shop organization
- Perform other various duties, as outlined by supervisor

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
