Hours: Tuesday 12:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Thursday 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and 2 Saturdays a month

Your expertise and guidance will help students develop the technical skills, creativity, and confidence needed to launch successful careers in the beauty industry. What You'll Do:
Responsibilities of the Part-Time Cosmetology Instructor include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver hands-on, skills-based training that creates an engaging and dynamic learning environment, preparing students for real-world success.
- Develop and maintain lesson plans for both classroom instruction and practical lab activities.
- Supervise and mentor students on the practical floor, ensuring a supportive and professional learning atmosphere.
- Assess student progress through written, oral, and hands-on performance evaluations.
- Foster a student-centered learning environment that promotes professionalism and prepares students for industry readiness.
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, addressing safety concerns and ensuring proper maintenance.
- Accurately track and maintain student records, including attendance, performance, and progress reports.
What We're Looking For:
- Education Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least three years of industry experience is required; prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Certifications: Graduation from an accredited Cosmetology School or apprenticeship and a valid Utah State Cosmetology Instructor's License.
- Organizational Abilities: Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and organization to efficiently manage classroom and practical training responsibilities.
- Attention to Detail: A keen ability to assess student performance, meet industry standards, and maintain accurate records.
