Security Officers FT/PT

3 month probation period paid at $16/hr.
After completing the probation period, pay rate increases to $18-$20/hr.

POSITION SUMMARY: Post officers are assigned to a variety of locations which might include: residential areas, schools, bars, banks, hospitals, retail stores etc...

Patrol officers drive marked security vehicles while conducting security checks at various locations across the city. Officers also respond to calls for service from clients, provide back-up to other officers, and will often find yourself working alongside law enforcement to resolve situations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check (to obtain security license)
• Able to remain calm and professional during high-stress situations or emergencies
• Able to qualify and remain proficient with firearms on an annual basis (company pays for training - employee provides ammunition)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Law enforcement (students), military, or security experience beneficial
• Retirees encouraged to apply

**Referred employee must stay employed, full time, for at least 6 months for referring employee to receive the bonus. Referring employee must be employed by / actively on the payroll of Mt. States at time of bonus payout.**
