Server/Bartender/Relief Lead Server

MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKEND EVENINGS. MUST BE AVAILABLE ON HOLIDAYS (less Christmas Day and Thanksgiving) AND DURING THE SUMMER. MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY DURING THE SUMMER. Being available for 10pm closing in July & August and 9pm closing all other months.

Position Overview: This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your talent in a fast-paced, high-volume setting and transition into a relief management position as you grow with us.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
• Efficiently serve food and beverages, with a focus on our extensive beer selection.
• Manage day-to-day operations during your Relief Lead Serving shifts, ensuring quality service and adherence to our standards. Being responsible for the till and opening OR closing duties around the till.
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere, celebrating the unique culture of Mountains Walking Brewery.
• Woking on holidays and weekends. Be prepared to be here over Thanksgiving week (closed Thanksgiving Day) and Winter Break (closed Christmas Day).

Qualifications:

• A REQUIRED Minimum of 3 years of high-volume serving experience, preferably in a fast-paced or fine dining setting.
• At least 1 year of management experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must obtain a valid Montana alcohol server certification prior to the first shift.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive pay: Minimum wage plus gratuity for serving and bartending; $14 per hour plus gratuity for lead server shifts.
• Enjoy a shift meal during your lead server shifts and a complimentary shift drink with every shift.
• After two weeks of employment, receive a weekly growler fill as a token of our appreciation!
• Scheduling: 4-5 shifts per week, must be available weekend evenings.

Training: Training will consist of four shifts, allowing you to learn the ropes and become comfortable with our serving and bartending processes. Our supportive team will be there every step of the way. For the relief lead role, you'll join our other leads during opening/closing and when you feel comfortable to receive these shifts you'll be scheduled.
