What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nuclear Medicine Technologist position at Mountainside/Hackensack?
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting in the delivery of personalized, professional and quality patient care, internal and external customer service, performance of all Nuclear Medicine examinations, transportation of patients to and from Imaging Services, preparation of all departmental paperwork, answering the department's telephone, scheduling of patients, entering and retrieving patient information from the Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and Hospital Information System (HIS) and maintaining the work area in a clean and organized manner.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Previous employment as a Radiology Technologist preferred, but not necessary
- Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.
- Licensed by the Department of Environmental Protection State of New Jersey
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
