What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Pharmacist position at Mountainside/Hackensack?
Position Summary :
The staff Pharmacist is responsible for compounding and dispensing medications and other pharmaceutical supplies, reviewing orders and prescriptions for appropriateness and patient safety. Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care and patient service. The staff Pharmacist reports to the Director of Pharmacy.
Position Qualifications :
A. Education / Skills / Experience :
- Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and / or PharmD preferred
- Three years of previous experience required
