What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Specialist position at Mountainside Investment Group, LLC?
Job Purpose:
Critical team member of the finance department who maintains accounts by identifying, verifying, and recording transactions. Provides support to finance manager and other departments, as assigned.
Duties:
* Responsible for maintenance and execution of A/R and A/P for their respective accounts.
*Prepares bank reconciliations and cashflows
*Responsible for monthly closing processes for each assigned account.
*Preparation and presentation of monthly financial statements to include income statements, balance sheets and KPIs.
* Maintains credit cards by issuing cards; reconciling expense reports; recording purchases.
*Maintains working relationships with customers, vendors and employees.
* Maintains financial security by following internal accounting procedures.
* Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed and assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
Attention to Detail, Analyzing Information , Reporting Skills, General Math Skills, Organization, PC Proficiency, Experience with Quickbooks, Deadline-Oriented, Thoroughness, Time Management
