Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Worker

Reports to: Director of Facilities Maintenance

Status: Non-Exempt

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. 

Mountaintop’s actual rate of pay will be determined during the hiring process.

Position Summary: Maintain function and cleanliness of Mountaintop’s facilities which include, but not limited to, Mountaintop’s Clubhouse, Lake Club, General Store, Comfort Stations, Storage Facilities, Family Activities Center, Employee Housing and Golf Course Maintenance Facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help maintain all Club buildings, equipment, and operational systems
• Execute Special Projects as requested
• Assists members with jobs as directed by management. 
• Responsible for completion of jobs assigned by Director or Management
• Study and learn lighting system controls and troubleshooting protocol
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures on buildings and mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, repairs, or replaces broken parts.  
• Obtain and maintain supply of small tools and “tool crib” sign-out system
• Obtain and maintain supply of light bulbs for each type of fixture
• Maintain exterior building lighting system
• Repair or replace small systems as required to maintain operation
• Maintain all painted and stained surfaces, woodwork, carpet, and flooring to original condition
• Assists with the renovation/remodeling of buildings; repairs plaster and drywall; paints building structures
• Performs custodial duties such as snow removal, pressure washing, trash removal etc. as required

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years of experience in a similar environment
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License 
• Background Check

Physical Requirements:

• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
• Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous repetitive motions.
• Work in a hot, humid, and noisy environment.
