Located in Chittenden, Vermont, our 4-season luxury resort is continually expanding operations. As a result, we're looking to hire team members for new and existing positions. Mountain Top Resort is seeking to hire seasonal full-time and part-time Trail Guides. They will lead guided trail rides to the guests of the resort, while providing adequate care for horses and related equipment.
This job entails:
- Offering a safe and proper riding experience for the guests, as well as safe and proper care of horses and related equipment
- Playing host to guests while leading rides, offering information about the resort and its surrounding environment
- Gathering horses needed for the day's riding schedule
- Feeding and medicating horses as deemed appropriate by the Stable Supervisor
- Proper maintenance of horses, horse equipment, tack, and other areas as needed
- Assisting in lesson barn or Activities Center as requested by Resort Management
- Special Projects and other tasks as needed
We are seeking candidates that:
- Have strong riding skills with at least 5 years of riding experience
- Have strong communication skills
- Have the ability to handle heavy objects
- Have previous customer service experience
- Have reliable transportation
- Are able to work weekends and holidays as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
