Job Summary And Qualifications

• You will schedule patients for new and recurrent appointments, verify insurance benefits, register patients, and coordinate authorization for procedures related to patient care
• You will provide clerical/ secretarial support to the department and director and assist with special projects as they arise
• You will coordinate/ manage a multi-physician patient centered daily schedule, check in patients as they arrive for scheduled appointment, and ensure the patient’s medical records have current diagnostic results, referrals, etc.
• You will participate in regulatory survey/ assessment readiness and exhibit and adhere to ICARE Standards of Behavior in all areas of job duties and responsibilities
  
  

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Licensure: None required
• 1 years experience working in an outpatient healthcare setting
• 2 years relevant experience preferred
• Thorough knowledge in verifying insurance benefits, obtaining authorization for procedures, treatment and scheduling patients
• Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with all co-workers, staff, patients, patient families and vendors
• Must have strong time management and organizational skills
• The ability to interact professionally in stressful situations is required
