About the Job:
- Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements, and
documents nursing care
- Assists physicians during examinations and procedures
- Performs various patient tests and administers
medications within the scope of practice of the
registered nurse
- Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient
care goals and teaching patients and families to
understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and
accomplish goals
- 3x12s, varying days
Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- A Minimum of two years professional experience in a clinically related area
- Preferred Previous Case management and third party payer interactions.
- Current RN Licensure in the State of New Mexico and current BLS
Or
Required: Graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work (unless MSW required for licensing) from an accredited institution
Preferred: Masters of Social Work from an accredited institution
Required: Licensed Medical Social Worker (i.e. LSW, LCSW, ACSW, etc) in state of New Mexico within 6 months of employment
Preferred: ACM and/or CCM certifications
