- Veterinary Care:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic assessments to determine animal health.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medical and surgical interventions.
- Administer vaccines, medications, and anesthesia as necessary.
- Perform routine and specialized surgeries, such as spays, neuters, and dental procedures.
- Diagnostic and Lab Work:
- Interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays, bloodwork, and urinalysis.
- Analyze test results and provide accurate diagnoses.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and assistants in sample collection and laboratory procedures.
- Client Interaction:
- Communicate effectively with pet owners, explaining diagnosis and treatment options.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic client education on pet care, preventive measures, and post-treatment care.
- Answer client questions, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records, including electronic health records.
