About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Employment Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing first-class customer service, support, and leadership throughout the recruitment, staffing, and new hire post-offer process. The Employment Specialist manages full-cycle recruitment efforts, ensuring compliance with federal and state employment regulations while aligning candidates with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and post-offer activities.
- Ensure all employment compliance processes are followed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Partner with the Employment Manager, hiring managers, and retention team to fulfill hiring needs.
- Build strong relationships with employees, supervisors, managers, and the local community to enhance applicant flow.
- Ensure all new hires meet legal employment authorization and age requirements, including verifying documentation and mitigating hiring risks.
- Maintain and utilize internal HR and applicant tracking systems.
- Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with Form I-9, E-Verify, ADA, and other employment regulations.
- High School Diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of human resources experience or educational equivalent.
- Experience with Oracle HCM, HireRight, E-Verify, and Form I-9 processes preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment regulations and ability to identify fraudulent or non-compliant documentation.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish or Haitian Creole required.
- Must be able to work 10AM-7PM
