Duties/Activities Required By Job
- Ensuring policies and procedures for the general operation of the business unit's compliance programs. Participating in regulatory visits and communication regarding new or existing permits
- Monitoring compliance of the business unit and providing guidance on matters relating to compliance. Review Intellect reports to ensure compliance tasks are completed on time.
- Identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; developing corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, mitigate risk, and providing general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
- Provide technical support to all upcoming regulatory issues relating to the company. Keep current with changing regulations/technologies across the country.
- Adheres to all safety requirements including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Lockout Tag Out procedure and process safety management related matters.
- BS in Environmental Science or related field
- 7-10 years
- Willingness to travel, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working knowledge of 40CFR-air, along with state, local regs, wastewater license
