JOB DESCRIPTION
The Feed Delivery Supervisor coordinates the ordering and delivery of feed to contract growers. Provides supervisory leadership to all of personnel involved. Maintains fleet and employee safety standards.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages driver and feed ordering staff. Works with Grow Out and Feed Mills to ensure accurate and efficient deliveries. Works with the Transportation department, Garage and outside vendors to ensure adequate and safe equipment; including driver payroll accuracy.
- Record keeping includes all required state and federal documentation to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to grower settlements and the hauling of animal feed over state and federal road systems.
- Investigates any unusual feed conversions that arise using the MTech system, Samsara and payroll sheets.
- Maintains fleet and employee standards and ensures regulatory requirements are met. These include OSHA, DOT, Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Packer and Stockyards Act, etc.
- Acts as the liaison between the driver, the shop and the Feed Delivery Manager. Coordinates with the Feed Delivery Manager and Driver Trainers to effectively onboard new drivers. Communicates other issues/goals as directed. Provides direction and support to drivers to promote confidence commitment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 - 5 years' relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of the MTech system, Kronos, and Beta-Raven.
