Duties/Activities Required by Job
- Handles basic routine refrigeration preventative maintenance and repair.
- Complete work orders as assigned.
- Set up/tear down/adjust equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns, assess and coordinate proper resources to address problem
- Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Lock out Tag out procedures and Process Safety Management related matters.
- Associate degree and/or Technical School course completion/certifications required.
- Refrigeration Operator Class 1 license, or RETA Certification and Basic Electrical 1 & 2 will be considered and/or must be obtained within 6 months of initial hire date.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to work independently are also required for this position.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a certification or degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance and/or related college or technical level course work.
- Must be willing to work 5:00pm - 5:00am and some Saturdays.
- Perform General Physical Activities requiring considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Able and willing to lift between 40 - 60lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in extreme cold/hot environments.
- Able to perform strenuous work in wet/damp environments.
