What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cage Repair - Rotate 1st & 2nd Shift position at Mountaire Jobs?
Primary Purpose
Repair Live Haul chicken cages and perform routine maintenance at the Live Holding shed. Must be flexable to rotate to Cage Repair/ scale house - schedules 1st & 2nd Shift - 1st Shift M - F - 7am - 3:30pm & Saturday - 6am - 12pm - 2nd Shift - 3pm - 11pm - Work Saturdays when the plant is running- Overtime as needed.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Be available to repair cages or any random duty that needs to be taken care of.
- Complete cage repairs to the best of ability.
- Adhere to all safety requirements including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 2-5 years' related work experience.
- Basic knowledge of welding and must have a forklift license.
