The HR Complex Manager will play a pivotal role in aligning human resources strategies and processes with business objectives while fostering a culture of excellence. This role is responsible for directing and supporting comprehensive HR functions across the organization, ensuring compliance, promoting employee engagement, and driving retention.
Duties/Activities Required by Job
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Provide leadership and support to HR functions, including Employee Relations (ER), Labor Relations (LR), Strategic HR Management, Staffing, Compensation, and Benefits, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain HR practices that foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
Employee Relations and Compliance:
- Ensure that Employee Relations practices promote a positive workplace culture while maintaining full compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal customers, ensuring adherence to labor regulations and company standards.
Staffing and Retention Initiatives:
- Direct and support strategies to achieve optimal staffing levels while improving employee retention.
- Develop and implement programs that enhance workforce stability and build a robust talent pipeline.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and provide guidance to teams across Employee Relations, Medical, Retention, HR Administration, and Benefits Administration functions.
- Support company-wide development initiatives to build leadership bench strength and ensure effective succession planning.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of HR reports, including Daily Operating Reports (DOR), Monthly Operating Reviews (MOR), Quarterly Operating Reviews (QOR), and Staffing Turnover/Retention reports.
- Leverage data insights to inform both tactical and strategic decisions.
Educations/Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources management experience, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
- Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing large teams, including at least 5 direct reports.
- Experience overseeing HR functions in a facility with a workforce of 1,000 or more employees.
