Primary Purpose - Located onsite in Millsboro, DE
Purchase all corn delivered into Feed Mills. Execute short and contribute to long-term strategies on corn. Purchase and sell all small grains, including corn, soybeans, wheat, barley and sorghum to deliver into Grain Elevators. Handle logistics for all grain movements including truck, rail, containers, barge, etc.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Purchase all corn delivered into Feed Mills. Contribute to and execute long-term strategies.
- Direct/manage all activity for the feed mill supply chain; manage merchandising.
- Handle logistics for all grain movements including, truck, rail, containers, barge, etc.
- Quality - Agri-stats benchmarking.
- Safety - site visits and promote safety.
Qualifications
- College or related experience.
- 3-5 years' relevant experience.
- Relationship, knowledge of industry, commodity trading, transportation and logistics.
