What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic Electrician Master position at Mountaire Jobs?
Direct and guide the daily, weekly activities of the electrician mechanics to ensure plant operates at maximum efficiency with limited downtime. Master Electrician mechanics have a Level IV RETA Certification and demonstrate advanced knowledge and expertise on routine/ non-routine refrigeration preventative maintenance and installation. They operate and control plants refrigeration equipment. Must also have a strong command of electrical controls & application. Night Shift
Duties/Activities Required by Job
- Acts as lead for all electrical mechanics, directs all work to be completed, daily and weekly. Trains and assists all other levels of electrical mechanics, is the subject matter expert on all electrical maintenance issues.
- Execute the schedules of maintenance, repair and improvement of electrical systems and equipment and cost control
- Repair, troubleshoot, maintain, inspect and adjust complex electrical processes in the plant to provide uninterrupted running requirements
- Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Lock out Tag out procedures and Process Safety Management related matters
- Daily/Weekly Reporting for all work completed and materials used and hours spent.
Educations/Experience Requirements
- H/S, Trade School, Vocational or advanced schooling, formal training and/or general-level maintenance with journeyman and/or masters certifications in one or more disciplines. HazMat Trained.
- 7- 10 yrs. Industrial Manufacturing or Skilled Trades, previous work-related experience, may include a combination of on-the-job and informal training
- Demonstrated proficiency with routine general preventative maintenance and repairs and non-routine high-level emergency repairs. Fully understands the theory, practical knowledge, and skills to safely and successfully function as a master-level mechanic.
