What are the responsibilities and job description for the MFG Operator I position at Mountville Mills, Inc?
General Responsibilities
- Clean/sweep work area to prevent possible contamination.
- Must verify the oil and mixing process of the first batch of every run.
- Ensure all knots are cut off the pre-weigh bags before being loaded into the mixer.
- Fold rubber into boxes or onto pallets
- Load raw materials onto a belt in accordance with the Mesabi.
- Any other duties assigned.

Qualifications
- Must be able to read and understand what is on a control screen.
- Must be able to keep the workstation and surrounding areas clean and orderly.
- Must be able to properly use a tape measure.
- Physical requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
- Ability to stand for 10-12 hours, depending on shift
- Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment
- Must be OK with working in a dirty/dusty environment due to the nature of the rubber business
- Must be able to work Monday-Thursday, 6:00a-4:30p
