Role: SFCC Front-end Lead Developer
Location: New York (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Development Efforts: Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of SFCC-based Front End solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Provide architectural guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to developers.
- Third-Party Integrations: Implement and maintain integrations with analytics, personalization tools, and external APIs.
- Page Designer components: Expert in designing and developing the SFCC Page Designer components.
- Content Strategy: Should understand the content strategy in SFCC platform. Like how content slot, content assets, localization etc. work at SFCC.
- Best Practices & Standards: Enforce SFCC coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices in SFCC development.
- Performance Optimization: Enhance page load speed and overall user experience through efficient coding and asset optimization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand the business requirements and suggest/implement technical solutions.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security issues, and functional defects.
- Continuous Improvement: Keep up to date with SFCC releases, trends, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in SFCC development, with at least 1 years in a lead or senior role.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, SCSS, and ISML templates.
- Knowledge of Data Analytics and data layering on the site level.
- Expertise in SFCC architecture, controllers, and SFRA framework.
- Experience with Commerce API, B2C Commerce, and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
