Position Overview:
Farming Fungi LLC, a family-operated organic mushroom company, seeks a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating our 2024 Hino 18-foot medium reefer truck, which is leased and maintained through Penske, to deliver our products across New England. The position offers the opportunity to be part of an eco-conscious company committed to sustainable agriculture.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct deliveries from Springvale, Maine to Gardiner, Maine, two times per week, starting at 5 a.m. and concluding by 4 p.m.
· Execute additional deliveries to various locations in New Hampshire and local areas within Maine as required, adapting to daily needs.
· Ensure safe and timely transportation of our products, maintaining the quality and integrity of the items being delivered.
Qualifications:
· CDL-B certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
· A clean and safe driving record is essential.
· A minimum of one year of driving experience is required.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of the delivery process.
Education Requirements:
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in a related field.
