Movado Group, Inc. designs, sources, and distributes MOVADO®, MVMT®, OLIVIA BURTON®, EBEL®, CONCORD®, COACH®, TOMMY HILFIGER®, HUGO BOSS®, LACOSTE®, and CALVIN KLEIN® watches worldwide, and operates Movado company stores in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Verify counts on all outbound shipping deliveries
- Execute VAS packing instructions based on the customer and delivery notes for all customers
- Pack all deliveries including Parts and Service orders
- Organize work area to prep for workload
- Assist with scanning deliveries into the shipping department
- Report daily productivity to management on log provided
- Deliver and load cartons into trucks for carrier pickups
- Handle product and packages with care
- Assist International Shipping Operations with packing as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position in a distribution/warehouse setting helpful
- Basic English communication skills to communicate with co-workers and managers helpful
- Organized and detail-oriented with a high focus on accuracy and quality
- Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changes in procedures and shifting priorities
- A “team player” mentality, able to work collaborative with a diverse group of people
- Basic math skills to verify counts
- Position requires prolonged standing or sitting and use of both hands and arms to pack/manipulate/move/carry/ lift packages and product
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, reach above shoulder level, and lift/push/pull as needed - up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work additional hours when required is a MUST (evenings and weekends if necessary)
- Ability and willingness to assist other departments as required by the business
