You’ll follow the manager's work orders and customer requests to safely load, transport, and unload a variety of items for our residential and commercial clients. - Organize moving truck with items to be transported
- Review work orders and communicate with client on moving preferences
- Certify there are no items missing with client and team members before leaving
- Lift a variety of fragile, large, and heavy items without damaging them
- Cover furniture in protective material to keep items safe
- Lift and transport heavy items repeatedly without damaging them.
- Ability to pad and wrap furniture.
- Be customer-focused on every job.
- Enjoy being a part of a team.
- Ability to follow company operational and safety procedures.
- Professional attitude and communication with all customers and teammates.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items repeatedly (100 lbs)
- Ability to climb stairs, maintain balance, and walk long distances while carrying items. Qualifications :
- Reliable, collaborative, excellent communication and customer service skills are a must
- Graduated high school, received GED or equivalent
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- General labor experience is preferred, but not required (Move Indy will provide paid training).
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must be 18 Compensation : $17 - $20 hourly
