Job Functions
Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the branch's customer base and deposit portfolio.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to deepen relationships with existing customers and attract new business clients.
- Represent the bank at community and networking events to promote services and build relationships with local businesses and organizations.
Branch Operations and Performance:
- Ensure the branch meets or exceeds established financial goals, including revenue, deposit growth, and loan production targets.
- Monitor and analyze branch performance metrics and implement action plans to address areas for improvement.
- Oversee daily branch operations, including cash handling, security, and transaction processing.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and mentor branch staff to develop a high-performing and customer-focused team.
- Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.
- Address employee concerns and provide guidance to support professional development.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Champion a culture of exceptional customer service by modeling and reinforcing high standards.
- Address escalated customer issues and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Gather customer feedback to identify opportunities to service improvements and innovation.
Community Engagement:
- Act as a visible and active member of the community, participating in local events and charitable initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with community leaders and organizations to enhance the bank's reputation and identify partnership opportunities.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all branch activities adhere to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain a compliant and secure branch environment.
- Stay informed about changes in banking regulations and ensure staff training on compliance updates.

Education/Certification
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail banking, including management or leadership roles.
- Proven track record of success in business development and achieving sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and operations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Leadership abilities with a focus on motivating and developing a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with community banking values and commitment to local economic development.
