Schedule: Weekdays, 40 hours/week, Full-Time
Education & Experience: Preferred 5 years of experience as a Staff Accountant and have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Compensation: $74,500-$83,200 salary plus benefits

Essential Functions:
- Work with Controller in ensuring completion of routine accounting functions.
- Review daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end tasks, processes and reporting for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and General Ledger in preparation for necessary deadlines on specified dates.
- Oversee and reviews coding of all Accounts Payable processed, including Concur reimbursements, rent payments, refunds, vendor payments, Amazon purchases, etc.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable for efficiency and timeliness of daily, weekly and monthly processes and accuracy of reconciliation. Ensure that Billing deadlines are met.
- Oversee calculating, posting and verification of financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records.
- Checks to make sure all accounts are reconciled (expenses, revenue, deposit accounts, recurring entries, prepaid accounts, etc.) in preparation for month-end reporting and processes.
- Oversee Fixed Asset Management process to make sure all necessary processes are accurate and efficiently done. Check accuracy of reports ran monthly, quarterly and at year-end. Work with the Controller in determining purchases, transfers, disposals in coordination with IT, Facilities Clinic Directors, etc. are within approved company guidelines and plan/budget.
- Reviews the accuracy of all Monthly Prompt reports and balances this with revenue and other revenue postings. Balance final Billing reports with Accounting to verify clinic revenues and post revenue and other revenue allocation.
- Review, posts and re-class other revenue accounts and run final Income Statement
- Compute Management Fees for all entities and proceed to process all Intercompany AR and AP postings.
- Clear/Apply open credits for all Intercompany and finalized AP & AR Aging.
- Run comparison financial statements for all entities, review all accounts and marked as complete on month-end checklist to advise of readiness for back-up, and close of month-end, and moving to next month.
- Back-up for publishing all monthly reports for all entities, back-up and close AR, AP and GL
- Back up for cash flow: EFT downloads and deposits and updating cash flow spreadsheet.
- Back up to Ensure and submit all necessary semi-monthly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting (ADP GL downloads and reporting, Department of Labor and, Work Comp audits, EDD, Use Tax, 1099s, CPA Audits, etc.).
- Backup for payroll processing
- Work with the Controller on special projects and tasks as required by Clinic Directors, Management, Tax Auditors, CPAs, etc.
Competencies & Preferred Experience:
- Can handle complex calculations
- Advance to Intermediate proficiency with spreadsheets and other software tools
- Thorough knowledge of functional area and departmental processes
- Ability to train accounting staff
- Work independently within established procedures associated with the specific job functions.
- Can provide input to strategic decision that affect functional area of responsibility.
- Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
- May give input into developing the budget
