The expected salary range for this position is between:
$87,100.00 - $162,500.00
The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

What You Need To Know
The Internal Audit Director plays a critical role in the success of Movement Mortgage by helping to protect its assets by ensuring compliance with internal control procedures and regulations
- Directs and oversees the development of the Annual Audit Plan
- Directs the identification and evaluation of risk areas for the development of the Annual Audit Plan, and coordinates review and approval with the Audit Committee
- Oversees audit team in the planning, organizing, conducting and monitoring of overall Internal Audit operations
- Reviews and approves audit objectives, scope, and audit programs for assigned audit projects, and counsels and guides staff to ensure that approved audit objectives are met and adequate coverage is achieved
- Directs the performance of audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues and recommendations, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing relevant information, evaluating evidence, documenting business processes and procedures and completing audit documentation
- Represents Internal Audit at management board meetings, with oversight agencies (CFPB, state, etc.) and other external organizations
- 5 years of audit-related and/or risk and control experience in a financial services environment, preferably mortgage
- 1 years of direct supervisory experience
- 2 years of project management experience
- Relevant certifications (CIA, CRMA, CFSA, CISA, or CFE) (at least one certification required)
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple simultaneous priorities in a high paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Trustworthy and dependable with ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient to advanced PC skills specifically including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
