Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a growing beverage client to identify and evaluate a Director of Sales Operations. The Director of Sales and Operations will manage independent distributors and a team of Direct Store Delivery sales representatives and managers across the United States. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in sales management, operations, and distributor relations within the food or beverage industry that is servicing the Hispanic market. This role will identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them while building and maintaining strong relationships with independent distributors. The role will monitor distributor performance, and equipment volume per outlet and implement corrective actions as needed while ensuring distributors are aligned with company goals and provide necessary support to maximize their performance. The Director of Sales & Operations will develop and manage the sales and operations budget while monitoring financial performance and implement strategies to achieve financial targets. Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and operations management with specific experience in a direct store delivery (DSD) model for Hispanic food/beverages products.
- Minimum of 5 years of route sales experience
- Quantifiable experience managing distributors.
- Fluent in Spanish
- Travel 30% as required
