We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead a team of 7-10 employees in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical maintenance, PLC systems, and motor control systems. This role is responsible for ensuring the electrical systems and equipment operate efficiently, troubleshooting electrical issues, and providing leadership to the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of 7-10 employees in the electrical maintenance department.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including DC and AC motors, VF drives, and controlled systems (Allen Bradley preferred).
- Ensure PLC programming, troubleshooting, and optimization to support production needs.
- Maintain and improve computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking equipment status and repairs.
- Train and mentor employees on electrical maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Maintain documentation of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and repair logs.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- 2-4 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- 2-4 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Experience with DC and AC motors, VF drives, controlled systems (Allen Bradley preferred).
- Strong background in PLCs, computer systems, and electronics.
- Knowledge of electrical safety codes and regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with predictive maintenance techniques.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with CMMS and other maintenance tracking software.
