Position Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Second Shift Electronic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining Allen-Bradley PLCs and other electronic control systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our production equipment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic control systems, including Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and associated hardware.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on electrical and electronic equipment to prevent downtime.
- Analyze and diagnose control system issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize disruptions to production.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Interpret and work with electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Install, program, and test PLCs, sensors, and other automation components as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance and repair activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, modifications, and system updates.
- Provide technical support and training to operators and team members as necessary.
