The Maintenance and Engineering Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the facility and production equipment are properly maintained. This includes:
- Developing and executing capital projects that drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness;
- Managing stockroom inventory to meet operational needs while minimizing waste;
- Supervising professional engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel to ensure seamless operations;
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and/or maintenance, with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. A bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
Main Objectives:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Project Management: Coordinate the specification, planning, justification, and execution of capital projects and major maintenance activities;
- Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance;
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records to support efficient operations;
Leadership Skills:
The selected candidate will lead a team of professionals and hourly craftsmen, providing guidance, direction, and support to achieve common goals.
