Financial Business Analyst
Location : Greater Royal Oak, MI
Salary : $65k-$75k (direct hire role with great benefits)
Hybrid / Onsite : 4 days on-site with 1 day remote
We are looking for a Financial Business Analyst to join our growing team. This role will be instrumental in managing, analyzing, and automating compensation-related data , ensuring alignment with financial objectives. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Excel, data analysis, and database management , using insights to improve efficiency and organizational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and analyze compensation data, generating reports to guide salary adjustments, bonuses, and other pay-related initiatives.
- Partner with finance teams to evaluate compensation strategies and their impact on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare and present monthly headcount reports, tracking departmental changes, workforce trends, and key payroll metrics.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting process by providing insights on salary costs, payroll taxes, benefits, attrition, and hiring trends.
- Configure and maintain the ADP Compensation Module to streamline merit increases and bonus distributions.
- Assist in preparing documentation for 401(k) and Workers’ Compensation audits .
- Address payroll and compensation-related inquiries from employees, finance teams, and HR.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency in compensation management.
- Maintain payroll logs, track unpaid time off, and manage key payroll-related data entries.
