What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance and Operations Executive position at Movement Search & Delivery?
At Movement Search & Delivery, we are working with a growing publically traded manufacturing client in need of a seasoned Maintenance and Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the facility and production equipment are properly maintained, meeting critical business objectives.
- Maintenance and Engineering Managers oversee the identification, justification, and execution of capital projects; monitoring machine functioning to include repair/downtime history and planning cost-effective preventative maintenance activities.
- This role requires direct supervision of professional engineers, technicians, department supervision, and clerical personnel; indirect supervision of hourly maintenance craftsmen including skilled electrical and millwright personnel.
- Project management/engineering is also a key aspect of this position, coordinating specification, planning, justification, and execution of capital projects and major maintenance activities.
This includes determining and documenting the need for project initiatives, coordinated development of proposed equipment/facility required to address need, technical specification of required equipment/facility functioning/components, review/recommendation of vendors/contractors, and actual project management during execution.
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience. Additionally, 5 years of related engineering and/or maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment are required.
