Product Group Engineering Manager
Location : Medford, WI (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)
Compensation : $110K-$125K (can stretch to $130K) 5-10% bonus
HYBRID : 3 days on-site per week

Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and contribute to design and development activities within project teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Drive innovation by creating and executing design solutions, applying engineering fundamentals, and utilizing practical technical problem-solving skills.
- Own and manage the delivery of assigned work packages for your team, ensuring high quality and timely completion.
- Facilitate project reviews by effectively communicating complex technical concepts, influencing decisions, and ensuring cross-functional alignment.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies, including material testing, specifications preparation, and research investigations, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
- Perform research to solve complex design challenges, proactively identifying and implementing best practices.
- Create 2D and 3D engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring design accuracy and manufacturability.
- Manage and maintain supporting data such as product BOMs, design record files, and engineering changes, streamlining documentation and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to drive engineering efficiency, process improvements, and overall product development effectiveness.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and drafters, providing technical guidance, training, and career development opportunities.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by researching emerging technologies, materials, and best practices from sources including technical literature, suppliers, and patents.
