Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a global manufacturing client with a growing location in Cartersville. Due to growth, they have a newly created programming/networking role. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in networking, Visual Basic, custom sensors, and Linux. The Programmer will develop and maintain software applications that use these technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications that use networking, Visual Basic, custom sensors, Python
- Work with other engineers to design and implement new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug software problems.
- Document software code and specifications.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in programming with networking, Visual Basic, custom sensors, and Linux, Python
- Recent experience in a manufacturing environment. This role will require a person to work in a steel-toe manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
