What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor position at Movement?
Passion, Innovation, Integrity, Partnership and Inclusion drive Movement. As a Personal Trainer you would be responsible for cultivating and maintaining a thriving fitness program which would include group sessions as well as individual sessions.
Job Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a list of clients
- Be a fitness resource for the facility
- Able to work any and all fitness classes offered by Movement
- Instruct and demonstrate to members on the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques which may include operating equipment and dynamically moving weight up to 50 pounds
- Contribute to the overall vision of Movement's fitness programs
- Teach evening fitness classes, we are hiring for Monday evenings, subbing availability preferred other evenings
Job Qualifications
- At least 1-3 years of experience as a Personal Trainer
- Required Certifications: ACE, NASM, NSCA, ACSM
- RKC, FMS, FRC, and CSCS Certifications a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a dynamic team-oriented environment
- Solid computer skills (web based applications, Word, Excel, POS applications)
- Experience training for climbing a plus
