Job Summary
Private Coaches are expected to listen and understand what their clients are seeking during a private lesson or over a series of sessions. We are looking for a private coach who can consistently deliver a transformative experience to their clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries and schedule sessions independently that meet the clients' criteria by email, phone or in person
- Take initiative to drive communication with prospective clients while expanding and growing your client base
- Monitor client's energy levels and support the athlete while promoting our core values
- Be curious and question to further your understanding of what the client is hoping to gain
- Ability to develop coaching plans for a broad range of clients
- Document private sessions thoroughly & consistently to support the program department
Job Requirements
- Embody Movements core values and foster a positive culture in our community
- Passion for working with athletes of all levels & ages to help further develop their unique needs
- Have the knowledge and skill set to support an advanced client base of youth & adult climbers
- Knowledge and experience in climbing instruction to commensurate with the client's level
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients and team members
Qualifications
Preferred- 1 year of coaching experience in climbing or another sport
Additional Information
This is a part-time hourly position with starting pay at $20 per hour and depending on the evaluation of your private coaching skill set. Full-time employment is possible if combined with another role or this role could grow clientele to hit the metrics where it becomes a full-time position. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including health an disability insurance, vacation accrual, 401k and other perks/benefits.
