Qualifications:
- Current Montana Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License
- Graduate of an accredited program
- Current HS AED CPR
- Experience working with children
Job duties:
- *Collaborates with a occupational therapist to develop, implements and revises individualized plans of care.
- *Demonstrates the ability to effectively plan, communicate and delegate to provide therapy services in a competent and efficient manner.
- *Performs all patient treatment according to established occupational therapy standards and department policies and procedures.
- *Performs necessary technical skills as delineated by education, experience and as evaluated in the organizations Clinical Competency Checklist.
- *Demonstrates an ability to respond to a changing workload in a positive and professional manner. Responds to changing workloads and patient conditions by: remaining calm, making objective assessments, prioritizing, and asking for assistance
- *Exhibits excellent customer service and communication techniques at all times to internal and external customers.
- *Ability to enhance rehabilitation services by participating in projects within the department, the facility and the community.
- *Completes all required documentation in a timely manner according to payer guidelines (Medicare, Private Insurance, Medicaid) and Montana practice guidelines for Occupational therapy.
- *Travels to outreach clinics/sites to perform therapy services as needed.
