Founded in 1995, Moving Station delivers real estate solutions through our business-to-business partnerships. We are seeking a high-performing Account Manager to support senior living communities' sales teams in a fast-paced, growing environment. Our primary objective is to partner with senior living communities, ensuring their sales staff effectively utilize our Moving Made Easy program. The role focuses on facilitating the transition of depositors to our Personal Relocation Managers, who will directly support seniors through their relocation process, ultimately driving occupancy and enhancing the community's customer experience.

Position Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for building strong partnerships with senior living communities and their sales teams. This role includes providing client services, logistical support, and training to ensure effective engagement with potential residents. By leveraging our Moving Made Easy program, you will facilitate the transition of depositors to our Personal Relocation Managers, who assist seniors during their move.

You will interact with senior living executives, sales teams, community residents, and Moving Station leadership to foster growth and meet partner expectations. Your efforts will help drive occupancy rates and enhance the overall experience for both seniors and the communities we serve.

Essential Functions

  • Drive client performance and growth objectives through strategic account management.
  • Optimize delivery of Moving Station products and services to meet client needs.
  • Develop and nurture key client partnerships for long-term value.
  • Educate partners on utilizing Moving Station services to enhance occupancy.
  • Conduct engaging in-person and virtual training sessions and product updates.
  • Create innovative strategies and materials to improve lead retention and partner performance.
  • Coordinate logistics and vendor management for smooth community openings and resident transitions.
  • Manage partnerships across U.S. markets, requiring approximately 10% -15% travel.
  • Provide weekly reports on partnership success metrics to senior leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records in the sales and support CRM system.

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (ideally in a business / communications-related field).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior living, business development, account management, marketing, or sales, preferably in CCRC / Life Plan communities
  • Proven track record of building strong client relationships, problem solving and exceeding sales goals.
  • Proven public speaking and training experience
  • Proficient in CRM systems, with Salesforce experience preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of real estate contracts and transactions.
  • Current or past residential real estate licensure is REQUIRED.
  • Ability to work onsite / hybrid in our downtown Chicago office.
