Duties
- Perform auto body repairs on vehicles, including frame straightening and panel replacement.
- Utilize power tools and equipment to repair or replace damaged parts.
- Conduct sheet metal work, including welding and soldering as needed.
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer.
- Execute auto painting tasks to ensure a smooth and professional finish.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their vehicles.
Experience
- Proven experience in auto body repair is essential, with a focus on dealership environments preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using power tools.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and sheet metal work is highly desirable.
- Experience in auto estimating is a plus, enabling effective communication of repair needs to customers.
